    Burt Cable, 65, of Benton passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon, February 18, 2017.

    He was born in Crandon, Wisconsin on October 18, 1951, the son of Merle & Betty (Weber) Cable.

    He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend, and will be greatly missed. Mr. Cable loved gardening & fi shing. He especially loved playing with his grandkids. He was a hard worker. He was a truck driver for over 20 years, and was currently a machinist for T & T Carbide. He was always on the go.

    Mr. Cable is survived by his: Wife: Carol Cable (they were married in April of 1981) Son: Roy & Brandi Riddle angel Daughter: Tara Hallis Son: Kris & Hope Cable Daughter: Jane & Adam Thomas Niece: Alicia & Sean Eubanks Grandchildren: Chase, Hannah, Ethan, Hevyn, Alyssa, Kennedy, Ryan, Payton, Nate, Jeb, Cabe, Addy, Remi, Lincoln, Sawyer, Ellie, Tillie, Bryce & Keegan Great-Granddaughter: Alyvia Sisters & Brothers: Nancy & Ed Lay Kim & Nick Bauman Todd & Rhonda Cable Deno & Kim DelMonte Sister-in-law: Belinda Bryan Brother-in-law: Mark & JoAnn Powell Many more family & friends.

    Mr. Cable was preceded in death by his Daughter: Tara, by his Mother & Father and by his siblings: Ginger, Brooke, Bill & Bruce.

    Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday February 23rd at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton. Visitation will also be after 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 25th at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton.
